SO WHO IS THE JEEP BEAT COLLECTIVE?
1000's of black discs, 2 pairs of silver wheels. a mountain of worn out styli & fucked mixers, a sampler, some effects & undiluted creativity are the tools used by the rhythm ruler THE RUF. Neither man nor mineral but supernatural spectre raiding the record closets of time & space with the one purpose of finding the all elusive perfect beat. All music & concepts were the bastard children of this beasts intercourse with a unique Hip-Hop life style. The Ruf is definitely the evil instigator of the slaughter although he is assisted by the bloody hands of an executioner, the pattern predator MARK-ONE, half man, half creature whose panther like cool hides the speed & dexterity of an animal who slashes his vinyl prey in a single take, 8 bar lightning strike.
