WHAT MIXMAG HAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS MONTH'S D.M.C. MIXES:
This month we're back with another Bananarama Megamix by the guy who put 'mega' in mix, Alan Coulthard. This up-dates their previous mega in preparation for their storming new 'Greatest Hits' album and underlines how well the world's DJ's can support the promotion needed these days by the record industry. Whilst in the studio spring cleaning we shook some new hits out of beautiful Whitney and Bizzie Bee, who's just had his first production credit on a public album - 70's Mix Rare Grooves - now delivers his Whitney ballads which includes her 'Olympic' cut 'One Moment In Time'. DMC try to be quick in hailing new Ceaser's and without doubt a new God in our midst is Todd Terry. This latest in the Mega Producers series has sadly had to by-pass two valuable T.T. tracks because they are copyrighted by one Morgan Khan who has boycotted DMC since our inception. This, however, does not blemish the usability of the Les Adams creation. With summer 88 throwing up full blooded Latin hip hop influence on the dancefloor, we thought we'd extend the summer with a Dakeyne selection of usable goodies. Hip Hop has kept its mouth above water this year and enters the winter months as virile and lippy as ever. Chad Jackson, the Vinyl Assassin cuts his way through the noise in 'All The Way Hyped! Halloween once again comes into the DMC focus and top club mixer Mike Gray delivers the material that will bewitch your customers dancing feet causing fireworks whenever you play House Of Horror. Finally, The Mixbusters have incorporated 40 inserts within The Trip (Enjoy this) which brings you a major ACID event. Congratulations to Jason of the MB's on his new job with Champion!

WHAT JASON DAVIES OF THE MIXBUSTERS HAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS MIX:
This was a mix more akin to Acidix part 2, but we didn't like sequential numbers! We were a bit early with Acidix with regards to the quality of tracks we could pull together at the time, but 1988 was a good year for acid tracks so we were able to throw some more taps into the kitchen sink!

TRACKS I CAN IDENTIFY IN THE MIX - I have only listed the ones that have prolonged elements or have a short sample repeated multiple times:
House Gang - Bango Acid (1988); House Gang - Cool J Trax (1988); O.N.I.T. (Oh No, It's Them!) - We're Out Of Control (1988); Tyree - Acid Over (1987); D-Mob featuring Gary Haisman - We Call It Acieed (1988); Maurice Joshua with Hot Hands Hula - I Gotta Big Dick (1988); Fantasy Club featuring J.R. - Mystery Girl (Set Me Free) (1987); Mory Kante - Yeke Yeke (1984); Mickey Oliver - In-Ten-Si-T (1988); Harry Thumann - Underwater (1979)

This release also has other tracks on it that are not a megamix.
SIDE B:
WALKING ON SUNSHINE Ben Liebrand Remix - Rockers Revenge featuring Donnie Calvin
DOMINO DANCING Peter Slaghuis Remix - Pet Shop Boys
