WHAT THE D.J. NEWS INSERT HAD TO SAY ABOUT THE MEGAMIX ON THIS RELEASE:
The Original Cameo Parkway Medley first appeared on Disconet in 1980 (Vol. 3, pgm. 5). Since we have had so many requests for this unavailable treasure, we thought you might enjoy a classsic re-run. These six songs made the Cameo-Parkway label in Philadelphia grow from a regional label to one of international prominence in the late 1950s and early 1960s. To make these hits sound at home on the dance floor, Capt. Mike Wilkinson put together the "Disconet Orchestra and Chorus" with help from drummer Jimmy Bralower and bass player Rick Pascual.

SIDE D MIX: THE ORIGINAL CAMEO-PARKWAY MEDLEY
MIXED BY: Mike Wilkinson (as Captain Mike)
LENGTH: 14:24
GENRE: Pop

TRACKS I CAN IDENTIFY IN THE MIX - I have only listed the ones that have prolonged elements or have a short sample repeated multiple times:
Chubby Checker - Limbo Rock (1962); Orlons - South Street (1963); Dee Dee Sharp - Mashed Potato Time (1962); Dee Dee Sharp - Gravy (For My Mashed Potatoes) (1962); Orlons - The Wah-Watusi (1962); Orlons - Don't Hang Up (1962)

This release also has another track on it that isn't a megamix.
SIDE C:
NO LIES Steven Von Blau Remix - S.O.S. Band
