Most tracks seem too short on a strong set in which Flash still masters the turntables but his rapping crew usually grab more attention, hot scratch cuts being the 98⅓bpm ‘Tear The Roof Off’, Queen-inspired 104½bpm ‘We Will Rock You‘, sparse 97⅓bpm ‘Kid Named Flash‘, jolting 88⅓bpm ‘Bus Dis (Wooo)‘, while raps are the hilarious Zappa-esque 98½bpm ‘Underarms‘ (about BO), innuendo-filled 0-92½bpm ‘Black Caddy‘, jauntily slavering 97⅓bpm ‘Them Jeans‘, go go-ish 96⅙bpm ‘Get Yours‘, wordily jittering 94⅓bpm ‘All Rapped Up‘, ‘Amityville-type 97⅓bpm ‘House That Rocked‘, humanitarian 98⅓bpm ‘I Am Somebody‘, different shorter 100½bpm ‘U Know What Time It Is’, all sandwiched between brief album opening and closing scraps of the 100bpm ‘Ain’t We Funkin’ Now’. Sho ’nuff are.
