Gee St Recordings’ UK version of the Jungle Brothers’ ‘Straight Out The Jungle’ (GEEA001) adds to the album’s originally reviewed tracks the Richie Rich reconstructed ‘I’ll House You’ hit, plus, with the first 5,000, a bonus 12 inch containing a ‘Because I Got It Like That’ (and thus also Sly Stone) based 0-108-107⅚bpm Ultimatum’s Ultramix, flipped by its chuggingly drummed 107⅚bpm Jungle Beats and brief Jungle Bass

An opportunity arose for us at Gee Street to remix some songs from the Jungle Brothers first LP Straight Out The Jungle. This was in 1988, not too long after I'd recorded Beat Bytes so I applied the same skills and mentality to the task. As Gee Street were releasing the Straight Out The Jungle LP in the UK, we gave The Ultimatum Ultramix away free as a bonus 12" when you bought the LP. We did the same thing for Queen Latifah's LP All Hail The Queen a year later with the Ultimatum Mix of Dance For Me and Princess Of The Posse.
