WHAT JAMES HAMILTON HAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS RELEASE IN NOVEMBER 1985:
DOCTOR FUNNKENSTEIN and D.J. CASH MONEY: ‘Scratchin’ To The Funk’ (US Sound Makers Records TTED-3014)
A clue’s in the title, this exciting 107bpm wild and woolly demonstration of DJ scratching cuts up Trouble Funk’s ‘Pump Me Up’ and more of their TTED material (105½-107bpm Part II flip uses live tracks including ‘Drop The Bomb’). The first go go scratch?

WHAT D.J. CASH MONEY HAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS RELEASE:
The year was 1985..I was at this studio called Virtue Studios in Philadelphia doing some scratches for an artist named Kydd Fresh aka Michael Elliot...Well a guy named Max Kid walk into the studio and said he was the manager of the group Trouble Funk...He had a pile of records & test pressing and asked if I could do a mix cutting up these records....I said sure but how much are you paying me? So we agreed on a price so I let them record me cutting up these Trouble Funk & Chuck Brown records...This was done in all one take
